The company is a highly successful, growing distributor of a wide range of packaging solutions. Committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, it has a strong presence in the food service sector and as part of its growth strategy, has created this new position to add to its client base in the retail sector.

The Challenge

To deliver profitable sales growth through identifying, targeting and opening new clients in the retail sector.

To build and maintain close working relationships with key decision-makers at all levels in the customer base.

To think laterally and “outside the box” in order to present new concepts to clients.

To contribute to the new product development process, providing market information and customer feedback to the technical function.

To constantly strive to deliver the highest levels of customer service.

Through tenacity, perseverance and a “can-do” attitude, to constantly hunt for new clients and relentlessly pursue new business development opportunities.

The Candidate

Should have a proven track record of delivering sales growth from new accounts through selling packaging solutions to clients in the retail sector.

Will have a strong “hunter mentality” as well as the determination, tenacity and “can-do” attitude in order to identify, target and open new accounts.

Your excellent influencing and communication skills will enable you to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Your structured approach and ability to forward plan will be coupled with a high level of creativity and skill at proposing innovative solutions to identified client problems.

Ideally with a technical understanding, you should be capable of presenting at senior levels and will constantly strive to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
