Leading a small team, your role will be to:-
Deliver best in class product quality and reliability exceeding market expectations.
Maintain relevant certifications whilst promoting continual improvement and business-wide adoption of the management system by deploying quality toolboxes and philosophies.
Support the overall culture transition towards process owners building quality into their processes and designs.
Ensure that internal and external customer requirements are identified and exceeded whilst championing multi-disciplined quality improvement initiatives.
Almost certainly an Engineering Graduate or HND qualified, you must have in depth quality management experience gained, ideally in a complex, medium or low volume design to order manufacturing environment. Alternatively, you may have modern quality management experience gained with a high volume manufacturer such as a first tier supplier to the automotive sector.
Strong candidates will also have had supervisory/managerial experience as well as responsibility for the management of the quality elements of a Business Management System.
You are also likely to be CQI qualified and able to contribute reasoned and constructive thinking as part of multi-disciplined technical discussions. You must also have deployed APQP procedures and techniques in a build to order context.
